If you have the room, your garage can be transformed into many things. Guys love the extra space and can use it for a workshop, office or a gym. The garage is a place guys can go and call their own and not be worried about bothering anyone else in the house. It is also a place they can go to just get away.

Most wives dont care about the garage and so it can be used for anything the man in the house wants. If you take the time to think of all your options, you can make it into a special place where you can have fun hanging out.

Many new homes are now being built with something called a tandem garage. This means it has room to park two cars one in front of each other instead of side by side. If you dont want to park two cars in that manner, it will leave you with extra space that you can be creative with. Often, that space is perfect for a small workshop or mini gym where you can put heavy equipment. If you use proper lighting, that extra room can become a very useful part of your home open u another room in the house.

On of the best ways for a guy to use any extra garage space is to make it into a game room. If you have ever wanted an arcade game machine or a pinball machine, the garage is the best place for either one. The concrete floor along with the ability to just wheel in a big machine makes the garage the best spot in the house. You dont want to have to get these kind of heavy machines up stairs and the garage is also isolated from the house so you can have fun and make noise.

Other garage game room ideas include putting a couch and chairs in along with a flat screen so you have a real guys hangout to play some video games. Garages are usually the domains of men and putting a game room in a garage is exactly what any cool guy would want.
